The pub was busy and is always popular with the choices of food and drink available at very competitive prices. In this visit we had a party of 21, all with different menu options and the waiting times for food was short and all meals came / served at the same time. I recommend to anyone looking to grab lunch and a drink to anyone. Reliable service by friendly staff.
I've been here multiple times and will continue, but every time I visit they manage to mess up on something. Forgetting to bring out meals for someone in the family, forgetting cutlery. Not serving the correct sides, running out of an item on the menu and not informing us until after we've ordered and paid, and running out/Forgetting the hot wing sauce!!!Still, it's a compromise I'm willing to make for low prices on a varied menu. The food is pretty good too
Standard 'Spooner! Good food at a good price, friendly staff. Nice local menu too, local produce, nice touch. Venue plenty big enough to find a quiet spot or be near the hustle bustle. Outdoor area, kids corner. Always clean and tidy.
