I was very shocked to hear this was in newport for so long! Been going for a few months on and off and I can't fault the service. I've seen reviews of poor English but I find their English fine and easy to communicate; staff are always willing to help if asked.
They don't know anything about customer service! Bought rotten egg the other day and the lady said(who didn't even understand what I tried to explain) you have to check it before you buy it! How the hell can you check the egg inside before you buying it????? They sold something that was bad quality and she didnt want to give a refund! She was very rude as well! They lost a regular customer because of 2! Well done! Dont buy eggs there! Buy local products!
Never had any problems here. English isn't the first language but it shouldn't bother anyone coming in. Food is amazing, and such heart prices. I love trying new things, and the staff are friendly. We go here once a week to top up on sandwich meats, sausages, breads and veg.
Nice shop. Variety of food. However, one have to be careful when buying ham etc at discounted price as it might not be fresh. Some shop assistants aren't friendly as well
