Lovely little place - my 4yr old and 1 year old can play happily for an hour here with no concerns. The staff are always helpful and the selection of activities is good. My only criticisms, and they are minor! are the rug under the teepee sheds like there's no tomorrow, so the hairs get everywhere, which isn't so great for smaller children, some of the dressing up stuff has seen better days, and the option of perhaps a sandwich as well as jacket potatoes would be wonderful, as a 'cold' option. Overall though, we love it, and will continue to support it even though we are not local. They also run some great events - can highly recommend the reptile introduction!

So sad to be writing this bad review. I have visited a few time but when I took my child for the Christmas party on Friday 23rd December 2016. As it was Christmas I left it a few days before contacting. This is the message I sent. I hope you had a lovely Christmas. I would like to share with you my concerns regarding the Christmas party. 1, not being able to recognise staff I find very important and it was very hard on the day to work out who was staff2, was given paper to write toy ideas for Santa loved this idea but sadly was not given pen so not able to complete 3, when trying to make the cookie. I asked the girl/staff on the making table for help to which she said she will go and find someone. I sat and watch for 5 minutes when she didn't have any children at her table apart from a mum which was fine and didn't need help. In the end I have to find help my self your self that was at the top in the kichen. You did come straight way and helped thank you but I shouldn't of had to find and ask for help twice4, around 6pm I felt very uncomfortable as staff was tidying up when the party was meant to finish at 6:30pm in the end I left at 6:20pm 5, the photo of santa again lovely idea but was not told a photographer would be taking photos. Then I see on Facebook that if I want to buy the photo I have to pay 3 on top of the 13.50 I know how hard you must work but I felt very let down and disappointed not just for myself but for my daughter as this was the 1st and only Christmas party she has been to and I choose your business to take her and spend my money. I felt that it was very unorganised on the day and I'm very sorry for you because like I said I know how hard you must work x I had a reply but to only cover 2 point's. The owner was going to contact me but failed to do so I phoned. The conversation was not nice at all (not like her messages) she wasn't listing and starting to shout didn't answer my question and when I said I don't agree she then went on to say "to be honest I just think you got your back up on the hole thing" "it was only a pen" "we tidy up every half hour" " all staff know the children but I am thinking of some sort of uniform but don't want to look like a playgroup or nursey" I explained that I because the staff also had there children it was very hard to recognise "most of the children we know that's why we don't have anything in place" I'm just trying to explain child safety/first aid and needing help she then said "have you come here before" at this point I felt very upset as she want listening. If it was just one bad thing then I wouldn't complain but with it all I didn't feel happy after paying 13.50. And to be spoken the way I was is not right. I will unfortunately not be visiting with my child again.
